  2. 1978-1983:  Senior Scientific Officer,  January to December 1978; and Principal  Scientific Officer, January 1979 to January 1983;  Bangladesh Institute of Research & Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine,  & Metabolic Disorder (BIRDEM), Diabetic Association  of Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

  3. 1983-1985: Research Associate (Post-Doctoral) USA),  with Professor Frederick vom Saal,  at the Division of Biological Sciences, University of Missouri, Columbia. 

  4. 1985-1991:  Chief Scientific Officer and Head of the Department of  Endocrinology and Metabolism, Bangladesh Institute of Research & Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine,  & Metabolic Disorder (BIRDEM)  Shahbagh Avenue, Dhaka, Bangladesh.  October 1985 to June 1991.

Democracy Movement.

  1. Member, The Rakhaing Network for Democracy and Federation of Burma. 2nd March 1962 to date.

  2. Member, Central Committee, Arakan National United Organization,  a Rakhaing freedom struggle led by the WWII veteran Commander Kra Hla Aung, 1966-67.

  3. Founder Secretary, Cambodia Peace Campaign, Asian Students Association,University College of North Wales, Bangor, United Kingdom, 1973-75.

  4. Secretary, Bangladesh Chapter, Committee for Restoration of Burma, 1987-89.

  5. Member, Central Committee, Democratic Alliance of Burma. 1988-1990.

  6. The Diplomatic Representative of Arakan League for Democracy (ALD). 1994-1999. This was a civil service. I was never a member of ALD.

  7. The Patron and Chief Executive Officer, Arakan Democratic Forces, 1998 to 2003.
