This letter is on the way to Senator Christopher Bond,  Senator Jean Carnahan, and Representative Kenny Hulshof.  Please write similar letters to your Members of Congress or Members of Parliament or Members of People's Assembly. Thank you.

With paramount respect this is to urge you to please take necessary action in your full legislative capacity to out law the military governments of any shape, any form, any color, from our planet and ban their existence within our human civilization. Please also legislate provisions to enforce the law at the national level as well as across the world under the authority of the United Nations. As the elected representative of the people it is your duty to do so. Please visit http://www.shwelumaung.org/OulawMG.

I am writing this letter to you on behalf of 1044 Rakhaingpray citizens who have entrusted me as their Patron and Chief Executive Officer. Please see at http://www.shwelumaung.org/ADFstrength/. I do not know in which country, in what detention center or in what prison they are now. I do not where their families and children are. The last I know heard of them was in Malaysia. They were crushed after they submitted a plea for 'Decolonization of Burma' at the UN Office at Kuala Lumpur in the year 2000 http://www.shwelumaung.org/ADFdemands/. But their hearts and souls are with me and will ever be with me. ADF abides by its manifesto (http://www.shwelumaung.org/ADFmanifesto).
Please also tour our ADF web site via http://www.shwelumaung.org/shwelumaung/
where you will also find my curriculum vitae.
When I became a victim of the military government I was not even 17 yet. On the 2nd 1962, when I was a second year Intermediate student at Rangoon University the army took over and my life has been determined and manipulated since then. I have fought against it and I have run away from it. Still, after all these 40 years, it follows me so viciously as a hellish shadow that even night cannot set me free. My family got uprooted, my brothers and sister got displaced, and my clan got discriminated.
Millions of peoples across the world have suffered from the cruel atrocities of the military regimes. Some brief information is attached here with for your easy reference. Please see Attachment-1.  Since the night of the 2nd March 1962 I became a member of the network for the establishment of Democracy and Federation in Burma. I mentioned this in my book Burma: Nationalism and Ideology, University Press Ltd., Dhaka, 1989, page 45, Note#1. A copy of the page is presented in the Attachment-3. At present, I probably am the only surviving and functioning member of this group.
By profession I am a biological scientist, and I identify myself as a half-scientist-half activist. Please visit my web site at http://www.shwelumaung.org/shwelumaung
to see more information on our movement and myself.
Thank you very much for your kind attention.
Yours sincerely,

Shahnawaz Khan, Ph.D.  (alias Shwe Lu Maung)

A victim of military government and representative of 1044 similar victims.
